
Rohini Thevi Guntnur Vishwanath joined the Macromolecular Bio-Interfaces Lab (MBI lab) as a Ph.D. student in the Biomedical Engineering Joint Graduate Program with University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and UT Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA). Her Research is focused on the developing hybrid nanomaterials platforms for neuromodulation.
Her Academic Background includes the successful completion of M.S in Biomedical Engineering at University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). Her strong research experience includes working at University of Texas at Research Institute (UTARI). Furthermore, she has been Awarded with “ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE” for three consecutive years and earned her B.E in Biomedical Engineering being University 5th Rank Holder from Visveswaraya Technological University, India.
Her secret passion for dance and taking long drives fills all her free time. In addition, she has been an active volunteer for several years at various service-oriented activities conducted by different organizations.
